Chthon, while I appreciate the perspective... it's all speculation. A few bitter people doesn't mean that the hundreds or thousands of new subscribers are going to promptly unsubscribe. Most people are too lazy to go through all that.
 It's all about the numbers and subscriptions this ezine is basing it off. These facts, not the feelings of a few users who are sad they couldn't get in on it, are whether it was successful or not.Again, please realize promotions are not run for consumers... they are run to gain exposure and this accomplished that. Now for all the exisiting faithful Guild Wars players you can see it as a fail with only a small portion of the population gaining them. But this is the case with all promotions and not why they are run. McDonald's doesn't give a million dollars to all people who participate in their promotions. It's only for a select few. That's what this promotion was for, a select few. Sorry, you didn't draw the winning number. |

Interesting how its only mentioned on the European GW sites and at a time when most of NA is asleep or getting ready going to work/school. I guess its Anet's poorly handled attempt to please Europe over the mini destroyer and NA giveaway.

I was getting both error messages, yet I got my code a few minutes ago. I was countinously re-entering my details in the past two hours. Now I'm getting re-requested e-mails every second. Maybe I shouldn't have tried so many times lol

I got 2 emails from them: "GamerZines Subscription Confirmation - Action Required " and "Welcome to GamerZines subscriptions" email ... now what? Do they send key in new e-mail or what? ...
